Disconnect and dispose of existing WC. Connect the unit to waste, water, and electrical services. Test and demonstrate the unit on completion.

Included
• Electrical supply spurred from local ring main.
• Electrical certificate provided NICIEC, ELECSA, or other approved by ECA.
• Alteration to water supply services within the immediate area of the existing toilet.
• Alteration to waste within the immediate area of the existing toilet.

Excluded
• Boxing-in to the immediate area in melamine or similar material unless detailed in the quotation.
• Reinstatement of décor, tiling, floor surfaces.
• Electrical works other than spur from ring main.
• Remedial work e.g. any defects to existing electrical installation.
• Alteration to incoming mains stop taps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Waste
Waste is horizontal P Trap outlet, centre of the pipe is 200mm from the finished floor level.
Waste can exit to the rear, left, or right or to the drain position in the floor.
Drain position in the floor can be between 70mm away from the wall and 230mm (ideal 150mm) without the need to box the Closomat away from the wall.

Water
The water supply inlet is 15mm, located 70mm to right-hand side of the centreline 200mm from the finished floor level. Water can be from mains or header, minimum flow rate required is 8 litres/per minute.

Electrics
Closomat is IPX4 rated
Max power is 1300w
Connection is via 10 amp unswitched spur, unit is supplied with approximately 3m flex

 

Important Notes

• Closomat must be provided with written confirmation of commencement of works date and a lead-in time of 2 weeks unless otherwise agreed.
• If the customer who placed the order cancels the agreed installation date with less than 24 hrs notice, the full cancellation charge will be applied to the customer’s account (contact us for details).
• If the customer who placed the order cancels the agreed installation date with less than 1 weeks’ notice, half the cancellation charge will be applied to the customer’s account (contact us for details).
• Any other works taking place on the site must be coordinated with the installation of the Closomat toilet.
• The Closomat team should be allowed access to the site to carry out the necessary work and should not be impeded by other works taking place.
• Any additional costs or delays resulting from other works taking place on the site will not be the responsibility of Closomat Ltd.

Health & Safety

Closomat Ltd must be notified of the nominated principal contractor to comply with the latest Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM). The principal contractor must produce a Construction Phase Plan before works commence.

To ensure health and safety throughout the project:

• Any necessary safety measures should be agreed upon before work begins, and any safety equipment required should be provided by the principal contractor.
• All parties involved in the work should be made aware of the potential hazards and risks associated with the removal and refitting of the Closomat, as well as any other works taking place.
• The Closomat team should be informed of any specific health and safety requirements or procedures that are in place on the site.
• The principal contractor should ensure that all workers involved in the project are appropriately trained and qualified to carry out the necessary tasks.
• Regular site inspections should be carried out to ensure that health and safety standards are being maintained throughout the project.
• Emergency procedures should be put in place in case of accidents or incidents, and all parties should be aware of these procedures.
