Following a summer break, Closomat and the OT Service are back with a programme of new clinical webinars.
The new programme, which has been designed in conjunction with Occupational Therapists, looks to address specific key clinical areas aimed at boosting skills for the attendees.
Having already proven their worth, the hugely successful OT focussed webinar series spanning 2020 and 2021, have been viewed thousands of times.
The Closomat clinical webinar series
Focusing on key specific clinical areas, Closomat aims to provide quality learning opportunities for those who already work in that area or those OT’s who just need a refresher.
Although the format of the events will largely remain the same, Closomat are moving to a quarterly schedule of webinars so as to offer additional learning content post-event, whilst giving potential attendees as much notice as possible.
The clinical streams that will be focused on are:
- Moving & Handling
- Paediatrics
- Neurology
- Older People
The schedule for the coming year is:
23rd September 2021 – Facilitating safe and independent toilet transfers
16th December 2021 – Common conditions and impact on bathroom activity
24th March 2022 – Impact of neurology trauma on bathroom activity
23rd June 2022 – Falls prevention through bathroom design
It’s been well over a year now that Closomat has been hosting regular thought-provoking webinars in partnership with The OT Service.
The national lockdown inspired Closomat to provide CPD learning for healthcare workers via Zoom, and so created the ‘OT Webinar Series’, which has been attended by thousands of Occupational Therapists, making them one of the most-watched group of virtual events in the healthcare sector.
