A “near death” experience has led to Janet Dyer getting a new lease of life and enhanced independence.

It is not just her recovery from serious illness that has resulted in her revitalisation and discharge from hospital. Her toilet has played a part too!

Janet- “81 going on 21”- was hospitalised with a serious illness, as a result of which she nearly died. Healthcare services were reluctant to allow her to go home until the proper support was in place- including adaptations to her Bathgate, West Lothian home.

Replacement of her conventional WC with a Closomat Palma Vita wash & dry WC accessorised with a plinth and touch sensitive hand switch (soft pad) means that now she can deal with her intimate care independently, without the need for care support.

”The Closomat has given me back my independence. I can highly recommend it to others in need,” she said.
